The Roman Amphitheatre of the ancient city of Jerash, in Jordan, is pacing itself to host the regional finals of “Red Bull BreaKing” on Friday at 6PM, where some of the most extraordinary “Breakdance” duals will be fought. Thousands of spectators are expected to fill the historic stands to witness the series finale which will culminate in the announcement of the best Arab “BBoy”.
The rules of the competition are based on the confrontation in the youth dance known as the “breakdance” ending with a “knock out” move, which means that the face-to-face duals will end in the exclusion of the loser. In early rounds, each BBoy will have two chances to reveal his moves, versus 3 chances in the final round, by flowing and edgy moves on the rhythms of Hip Hop music.
Three BBoy world champions will judge the performances and select the winner based on three main criteria: technique, creativity and dance flow.

Hence, he is the most popular “BBoy” in the world as he uniquely combines traditional and modern moves with stirring up the public’s enthusiasm.
The second member of the jury is “BBoy Lamin”. Born in Paris, from Senegalese parents, Lamin started performing the “Break” art in 1991, as he was influenced by the wide expansion of this form of skill in the Paris in the early 1990’s. Lamin is one of the most influential “BBoys” on the international scene and he is now focusing on judging, training, contributing and organizing international competitions.

The Italian star moved around with his family between Germany and Italy until 2002, when he finally settled in Milan to mature and improve his career by creating distinctive moves in the world of “Break Dancing”.
On another “note”, the “Hip Hop” culture wouldn’t be complete without Rap music and BBoys tunes with expressly orchestrated hosting by “MC Deeb” (Egypt), “MC Edd” (Lebanon), “MC Boikutt” (Palestine) and “Ostaz Sam” (Jordan).
In October 2010, Abdel Rahman Al Hamood, also known as BBoy Lazy was crowned regional winner in Dubai’s Red Bull BreaKing Regional Final. The young Saudi then represented his country and the Middle East in the qualifications of “Red Bull BC One” in Istanbul – Turkey last July, competing against world champions.
