RED BULL CAR PARK DRIFT RULES AND REGULATIONS

Eligible Vehicles
Eligible vehicles in the RED BULL Car Park Drift are distributed as follows:

• All production vehicles normally commercialized and registered in conformity with the local traffic regulations.

All vehicles must have valid control check (Mécanique), and comply with the following:

• Excellent condition
• Dual braking system
• Good external and internal condition
• Convertible cars are not eligible.
• All SUVs (4X4) trucks, pick ups, quads, motorcycles etc. are not eligible.

Consent Entrants and Drivers

• Drivers must be in possession of a current driving license.

Safety Measures

• Any vehicle with insufficient safety features shall not be admitted.
• The wearing of a safety belt and a crash helmet is obligatory.

Entries

• By the very fact of his/her registration, each competitor undertakes himself to be acquainted with the RED BULL CAR PARK DRIFT regulations and accepts the decisions of the organizers as well as the officials.
• In case of an accident, the competitor and /or driver exclude any responsibility of organizers of the RED BULL CAR PARK DRIFT, as well as the organizing committee and pledge to renounce any complaint against them.

Insurance

• The insurance cover will come into effect at the start of the event and will cease at the finish of heat or at the moment of retirement, disqualification or exclusion.
• Damages to drift cars as well as liability of a crew member towards the other crew member or car are not covered by the insurance provided by the organizers.

Reservations

• The organizer reserves the right to add to the supplementary regulations or to issue additional conditions or instructions, which will form an integral part of them.
• Participants shall be informed of any amendments or additional conditions as soon as possible.

Advertising

• The individual advertisement is authorized on the clothes of the drivers.
• Drivers are allowed to affix advertising to their vehicles but in specific areas of the car where Red Bull RED BULL CAR PARK DRIFT branding is not available.
• Red Bull branding on both sides of the car belongs to Red Bull; no other branding on the sides is authorized.

The Race

• The course of the competition will be held secret.
• The drivers will be allowed to walk the course.
• Only two runs will be held and the best score will be recorded for the final results.
• The clerk of the course based on the decision of the stewards of the meeting may authorize the drivers whom are stopped on the course due to unknown problems to take another start. No complaint will be admitted on this subject. All drivers during the heats should abide by all regulations indicated and the decisions taken by the clerk of the course.
• A general briefing will be held as previously scheduled. The presence of all drivers is compulsory.
• During the briefing the competitors will receive the latest instructions concerning the event.

Checks
The administrative checks will consist of checking the following:

• Engine capacity
• Control of the competitors' driving licenses, car and medical insurance, etc.
• Participants are obliged to accompany their vehicle at scrutinizing, so that identification and safety checks can be carried out.

Penalties
Exclusion from competition will be effective in the event of:

• Absence of the crash helmet or safety belt.
• Improper dress code [No shorts, open shoes, sleeveless shirts or flammable textile]
• False information in the entry form
• Replacing of driver or in case of retirement
• Practicing on the track before the event
• Wrong route: or driving in the opposite direction
• Any offence to the organizers & / or officials of the event
